On Thursday 3rd April 2014 children from Robert Arkenstall school visited the Museum of Cambridge to learn about the work of Enid Porter and the folk customs and traditions that she recorded so meticulously in her notebooks. The visit was organised as part of the Heritage Lottery funded Enid Porter’s Folk project and, as a special additional treat, the children enjoyed a fascinating┬ábus tour to the museum by Mike Petty, local researcher, lecturer and historian.
